Upon my arrival to the United States, I quickly discovered I had a lot to learn about the English language even though I was fluent. I speak six languages and am starting to study a seventh, and they are all awfully important to me.

Some of the people I admire most have had to take huge personal risks to be their authentic selves, fulfill their potential as human beings, and fight for their own health and happiness. So, I wanted to express my love of and admiration for the LGBT community, and specifically transgender and genderqueer Coloradans.
