Henry Ford is credited with saying, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” This quote resonates with me today for a few reasons. July marks the first month of operation for the newly appointed Colorado Health Benefits Exchange Board of Directors. I am honored to have been selected by the Governor to be part of this team and look forward to working with fellow Board Members and the people of Colorado as we come together, keep together and work together to create a successful health insurance exchange in Colorado. July is also the first month that CCMU is fully staffed with our new team. Aubrey Hill, Joe Campe, Sarah Mapes, and Denali Johnson compose this incredibly bright, enthusiastic team of committed individuals working together to forward our mission. Being part of a team can be hard work. It requires a deep commitment to contributing your best so that everyone succeeds. I believe the work is worth it and hope others do, too.
