They identify the most significant problems facing their communities, and launch and develop campaigns.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-campaigns\"><div class=\"wp-block-campaigns__item\"><h3 class=\"wp-block-campaigns__title\">The Medical Debt Protection Act<\/h3><p>No one should lose their home, paycheck, or bank account just because they got sick. This bill protects Coloradans from predatory medical debt collection practices\u2014ensuring that every patient has the right to fair, affordable, and transparent medical billing.<\/p><a href=\"https:\/\/centerforhealthprogress.org\/es\/campaigns\/care-not-courts\/\" class=\"wp-block-campaigns__btn--text\">Take Action<\/a><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-campaigns__item\"><h3 class=\"wp-block-campaigns__title\">Health Over Corporate Wealth<\/h3><p>While private health insurance companies bring in record-breaking profits, Colorado\u2019s health care safety net is being pushed to the brink. Medicaid, OmniSalud, and Cover All Coloradans, which provide life-saving health coverage to over a million people in Colorado, are threatened by budget cuts\u2014just when demand is growing and communities need them most.
