Katie Hart has dedicated most of her professional career to finding and securing resources that ensure organizational sustainability through innovative and creative avenues. As the development manager, Katie is responsible for the design and implementation of the organization’s fundraising efforts that allow our programs to flourish, build grassroots ownership of our direction, and ultimately, will create a health care system that works for all Coloradans. She has been passionate about social justice issues since earning a bachelor’s in communication studies at Niagara University and transformed that passion into action after receiving a master’s in international and intercultural communication from the University of Denver. Katie serves on the board of the Colorado Healthcare Communicators and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Originally from New York, she remains in earnest search of a decent slice of pizza in Colorado. Katie has been a part of the Center for Health Progress team for three years.
