Health insurance is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. While Colorado’s adolescents are generally in good health now, we must work to protect their future by getting them enrolled in coverage–much of which is already available.

Despite having a more robust health care system than most of Colorado enjoys, many Denver residents are still in poor health. Together, we must work to understand and address the issues that are keeping residents from accessing care.

Social and cultural factors affect the ability of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Coloradans to get and stay healthy. We must work to ensure all Coloradans have the ability to access the care they need, when they need it.

Limited data is available on the unique health experiences of Colorado’s Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. As their population grows, we must work to understand their diverse backgrounds and provide for their health needs.

Colorado’s senior population is growing very quickly and demand for services is outpacing the supply. Together, we should plan for the future to ensure our seniors can access the care they need, when they need it.
