Dana comes to Center for Health Progress with a love for people and passion for fighting against the systems that keep us down, keep us divided, and keep us from having the autonomy to decide what our lives and families look like.

Dana was born in Aurora, CO and raised by her amazing parents in a middle-class family in Upstate New York. She comes from a long line of fierce women who instilled in her the importance of taking action on your values, caring for community, and making sure to find joy and be a little goofy along the way!

After working in community health since she was a teenager, Dana joined CHP in 2016 and became a Co-Executive Director in 2022. In that time, she’s come to see the magic in building power across identities to create a health care system in this country that values our humanity over profit. Organizing alongside her teammates and community leaders gives her hope that another future is not only possible but that together we are making it happen.

She is a white queer woman, a loving and devoted dog parent/sister/auntie/daughter/friend, an avid gardener, mediocre crafter, and outdoor adventurer.
