Our communities deserve better.
Clean air and water, good paying jobs, quality education, affordable housing, healthy food, accessible transportation, and great health care are things we all want, need, and deserve. However, our most culturally rich, most resilient, most hard working communities have faced tremendous barriers to these, and have suffered unjust health outcomes as a result. We must change the harmful policies and practices–such as limited economic investment, redlining, and environmental racism–that are holding Colorado back.
Over the past 20 years, we’ve been building strong relationships with local leaders, statewide decision makers, and elected officials to be a strong consumer advocate. Now we’re deepening our roots and commitments to grassroots community members. The people whose lives are most affected by our health system’s failures have the solutions Colorado needs to design and oversee the changes we need.
