We’re deepening our work to shape public narratives about health and health care.
In 2022, we’ll be deepening our work to shape public narratives about health and health care to transform systems and structures to value humanity and wellness. This new public narrative will support our collective power building efforts and have influence on health care organizations and 2024 state elections. We have two areas of focus as we grow narrative building to be a primary driver in our health care redesign and power building:
Capacity Building
As this is a new area of focus for us, we’re spending our time increasing our expertise on the ways that impacted people and communities can shift the dynamic and hold the narrative power, and how narrative transforms stories into livable, enduring action.
Influencing the Public and Political Narrative
Through social media, an acclaimed blog, public speaking, and media campaigns, we work to educate the public about health equity and normalize conversations about racism in the public and political domain. We elevate stories that challenge dominant narratives and help movement change make sense to people.
