Carly believes in the power of interpersonal connections to drive progress, but she knows empathy can’t fuel equity alone. It takes diligent systems change. She holds a dual Bachelors Degree in both Psychology and International Studies from the University of Denver. Carly also has her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Policy Practice from the University of Denver. During her Master’s program, she gained experience and interest around the intersections of social and health policy while interning at a government agency. After completing her second MSW field placement with Center for Health Progress, she happily joined the team as an official staff member. You can also find her working part time at a local craft brewery, which she lovingly calls her real “social work.” When she’s not working she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and sitting around a campfire.
